This performance muffler features a perfectly smooth, straight-through perforated internal core for very high flow. The entire muffler is constructed of Stainless-Steel for worry-free longevity. The core is surrounded by Stainless Steel mesh for direct high-temperature handling, with an outer ceramic filler to absorb sound & remaining heat. You will find no kinks or ripples in offset configuration mufflers as the core is mandrel-bent, unlike our competitor’s mufflers. For instance, our MF1226 muffler flowed 92 CFM more, than the leading competitor’s muffler in identical configuration on a SuperFlow flow bench @ 28” H20. This is by far the best muffler at this price point. I put it on my 62 jeep and the sound is notable but not at all obnoxious

Excelent value, good quality.
Well made muffler. For the price I was concerned it may not be of good quality, but it is very solidly built. Built of heavy enough gauge material that in welding attachments to the ends and shell it's solid. Not terribly loud, but I wouldn't want to daily it (I'm an old fart and past that). Looking inside, the mandrel bending of the perforated tube is not perfect, but overall it looks very good. 4/5 for less than perfect bends in perforated tube, but it won't hurt performance or flow. Not a polished muffler.
